JavaScript Requirements

JavaScript is a programming language that is used throughout the Internet to make Web pages interactive. DataSite requires that JavaScript be enabled in your Web browser.

If you receive a notification that JavaScript is not enabled for your Web browser, follow the appropriate steps below for your browser to enable JavaScript. If you need assistance to identify your browser, click on the System Requirements Check link on the Login page. A window will open that identifies your browser.

Internet Explorer (Windows only)

  1. Click Tools > Internet options in the menu bar.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Click the Internet icon.
  4. Click the Custom Level... button.
  5. Scroll down to Active Scripting.
  6. Select Enable.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Refresh your browser.

Firefox

  1. In the browser address bar, type "about:config" (with no quotes) and press Enter.
  2. Click I'll be careful, I promise.
  3. Select Enable JavaScript.
  4. The Config page will open. In the search bar, enter "javascript.enabled" (with no quotes).
  5. Right-click on "javascipt.enabled" in the lower pane and click "Toggle".
  6. The entry in the Value column will be true if JavaScript is enabled. If the entry is false, repeat Step 5.

Chrome (Windows only)

  1. Click the Customize or Wrench icon.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. At the bottom of the Settings window, click Show advanced settings....
  4. Click the Content settings... button under Privacy.
  5. Under JavaScript, select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended).
  6. Click Done.
  7. Refresh your browser.

Safari (Mac only)

  1. Click Safari > Preferences in the menu bar.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Select Enable JavaScript.
  4. Close the window to save your changes.
  5. Refresh your browser.
